STARTING OUT
You don’t need to have it all figured out
Sometimes the difficulty is clear. Sometimes it is harder to explain.
You may be experiencing distress, struggling with longstanding patterns, recovering from an injury or difficult period, or finding that everyday demands are becoming harder to manage.
People come to Framework with concerns involving anxiety, mood, stress, burnout, trauma, adjustment, ADHD, persistent pain, alcohol or substance use, personality and interpersonal patterns, or difficulties affecting work, study and relationships.
You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis, or have a referral before contacting us. An important part of psychological care is understanding what is happening, what may be contributing and what kind of help is likely to be useful.
Appointments are available in Kew East, Melbourne, and by telehealth where clinically appropriate.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Support for the way difficulties show up in real life

When work is taking its toll
Stress, burnout, performance pressure, and work identity, including in high demand, visible, or high-risk roles and through times of change
When patterns keep repeating
Longstanding emotional, coping, or relationship patterns, and how personality shapes these
When you need clarity
Clinical and diagnostic assessments, to help guide what happens next
When you’re affected by your health or injury
Persistent pain, symptoms, injury and recovery, including for transport accident and workplace injury claims
When alcohol or other substances are part of it
Psychological care where use is affecting health, relationships or work
OUR APPROACH
Experienced clinicians. Practical focus.
01
Assessment-informed
We work with you to understand the whole picture - understanding you, your circumstances and the factors affecting you.
Careful assessment and psychological formulation can help clarify symptoms, patterns, strengths, circumstances and factors maintaining difficulties.
02
Focused on function
The goal is not just a diagnosis (when relevant). Treatment connects psychological understanding with meaningful change in everyday life. We listen carefully and clarify what is happening, what matters to you and what you would like to change.
Evidence-based psychological treatment can enable change in emotional wellbeing, coping, behaviour, relationships and everyday functioning. It can support recovery and participation following illness, injury, high demand, burnout, or significant life change - including functioning and work or study.
03
Comfortable with complexity
Sometimes concerns are complex, longstanding, or not yet clearly understood.
Complex presentations, personality, rehabilitation, and demanding work environments are familiar ground.
