WE WORK BEST WITH

  • Persistent anxiety, depression, or stress not responding to initial brief intervention or self-management

  • Complex or multifactorial presentations (e.g. comorbidity, personality, psychosocial stressors)

  • Trauma-related presentations

  • Work-related stress, burnout or psychological injuries (incl workers’ compensation)

  • Practical support to improve function, and participation in daily life, relationships, study or work.

  • Adult ADHD assessment and support

  • High-functioning patients requiring structured, evidence-based care

We support IAR Levels 2-3.

We do not provide services for younger children, family/couples counselling, or eating disorder treatment and management plans. We recommend APS’ Find a Psychologist to identify other local psychologists working in these areas.

TAC Victoria

Workers’ Compensation

For allied health and other non-medical referrers: you are welcome to recommend or refer a patient to Framework Psychology. However, your referral does not itself establish rebate or funding eligibility. The patient may also require an eligible medical referral, accepted claim or funder approval.

Private patients do not require a referral. Medicare Better Access eligibility requires an appropriate referral from a GP or prescribed medical practitioner under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, a psychiatrist under a Psychiatrist Assessment and Management Plan, or a direct psychiatrist or paediatrician referral. Eligibility for work or transport accident compensation schemes also requires medical referral.
