Fees & Rebates
Standard Consultation
(Private Patients)
$230.00-267.00
For private patients without a referral, our consultation fees for standard 50-minute appointments are:
Clinical psychologist - $267
Registered Psychologist - $230
We continue to maintain our fees below the APS and AAPi schedules (which recommend fees of $330 for 46- to 60-minute consultations)
The same fees apply to both in-person and telehealth appointments.
If you hold private health insurance, contact your provider to find out if your policy’s ‘extras’ cover provides rebates for psychology or mental health services.
Medicare
(Better Access/Mental Health Treatment Plan)
$230.00 - 267.00
You may be eligible to claim for your consultation through Medicare.
Clinical psychologist - $267 standard fee
Medicare rebate $145.25 (Psychological therapies)
Registered Psychologist - $230 standard fee
Medicare rebate $98.95 (Focused psychological strategies)
After the Medicare rebate, the out-of-pocket ‘gap’ is between $121.75 - $131.05.
You may receive a higher rebate amount if your family reaches an applicable Medicare safety net threshold.
To be eligible to receive psychological services under Medicare, you must be referred by your GP - or psychiatrist, paediatrician, or consultant physician - prior to your appointment.
Book an extended appointment with your GP to explore a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral. If eligible, your initial referral may be for up to 6 appointments. If required, and subject to review by your referrer, you may be able to access rebates for additional sessions, up to a maximum of 10 individual appointments per calendar year.
The standard fee is still paid in full at your appointment. If you provide your Medicare and referral details, the rebate amount is reimbursed to you by your Medicare claim. We can process this for you; Medicare usually refunds the rebate to your bank account within 24-48 hours.
Workers’ Compensation
Comcare
WorkSafe Victoria
WorkCover Queensland
Sira NSW
If you are eligible for psychological services under a workers’ compensation scheme, please contact us to discuss your eligibility, applicable fees/rebate, and any out-of-pocket costs. Or, follow the links for more information on each scheme.
For Victorian workers’ compensation, WorkSafe Victoria pays $203.91 for a 60-minute appointment. A ‘gap’ payment therefore applies; only this difference between the rebate and our standard consultation fee is payable at your appointment. We invoice the WorkSafe Victoria insurance agent directly for their portion of the fee.
For those with accepted Comcare, SIRA NSW, WorkCover Queensland or ACT Workers’ Compensation claims, no gap is payable. Fees for standard 60-minute appointments are fully covered by your claim (up to the approved sessions or treatment plan).
We invoice your compensation insurer or insurance agent directly for the fee covered by your claim.
Medicare
(Chronic Disease Management)
$230.00-267.00
(eligible for psychology rebate of $61.80)
Medicare benefits are available for allied health services, where patients have chronic or terminal conditions and complex care needs. Rebates are available for up to 5 appointments per calendar year (in total, across all relevant services).
Transport Accident Commission
(TAC)
If you’ve been involved in a transport accident, Victorian TAC can help in covering the cost of mental health services relating to your accident.
The TAC will pay $202.20 towards a 60-minute appointment. After the TAC rebate, only the out-of-pocket ‘gap’ fee is payable at your appointment ($27.80-64.80).
We take care of invoicing TAC for their portion of the fee.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
(NDIS)
$232.99 per hour
For self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, assessment, therapy and capacity building services are provided in line with the current NDIS pricing schedule. No ‘gap’ fee is payable beyond the schedule rate.
Listed fee and rebate details are correct as at 1 April 2026, and are expected to be accurate until 30 June 2026.
All fees are payable in-full on the day of appointment. Payment by debit or credit card is preferred, or by electronic funds transfer (EFT). We do not accept cash payments.
Where eligible, Medicare or other rebates can be claimed on your behalf (Medicare rebates are typically reimbursed directly to your bank account within 24-48 hours).
Where any additional fees may apply for psychological assessments or other services, these will be discussed and agreed in advance.
Missed Appointments/Late Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule an appointment. Non-attendance or cancellation within <1 business day of scheduled appointments will typically result in the full session fee being charged. Cancellation fees are not eligible for rebates from private insurers, Medicare, workers’ compensation schemes, or TAC. In person appointments may be changed to telehealth appointments, as required.
